Foundation Park Alzheimer’s Care Center maintains a mixed media library in regards to Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia disorders.
You may sign out any of our items including books, pamphlets, videos, movies. The information covers a wide range including information on the disease process, help for the caregivers, help for children , financial questions, choosing a nursing home, etc.
Please see the Social Worker if you would like to borrow any of these items.
Support Groups
Foundation Park Alzheimer’s Care Center is affiliated with the Alzheimer’s Association, NW Ohio Chapter to provide a support group for individuals caring for someone with the disease.
Our group is facilitated by Foundatiton Park employees Kathi Allen, R.N. and Sue Blevins, Gerontologist and meets the second Saturday of each month at 1:30 at Café Marie on Dussel Drive, Maumee, Ohio.
Respite care for the individual with Alzheimer’s is available upon request. For more information, call 419-385-3958

Annual Dementia/Ethics Conference at St, Luke’s Hospital (8 AM-12 noon)

- Gary Glazner of New Mexico, the creator of the Alzheimer's Poetry Project
CEU's will be available for major disciplines.
